Founded in Dublin in 2021, magenta-rain emerged from a simple observation: creative professionals were increasingly curious about AI tools but lacked guidance on how to integrate them meaningfully into their practice. Too often, the conversation around AI and creativity devolved into dystopian fears or unrealistic promises. We saw an opportunity to provide balanced, practical expertise.
Our founding team brought together backgrounds in fine arts, creative writing, computer science, and design thinking. This interdisciplinary foundation remains central to our approach. We understand both the technical capabilities of neural networks and the nuanced needs of working artists and writers.
